Two of the Super Eagles’ star performers, Emmanuel Emenike  and  Victor Moses , were left out of Thursday’s training session, after they picked up knocks in the 4-1 victory over  Mali . The team’s doctor,  Ibrahim Gyaran , confirmed that he advised Stephen Keshi, to exclude the players from training, so they could undergo tests on the injuries they picked up. Emenike is expected to return to training on Friday, after he showed signs of recovery from cramps, while Moses is still awaiting results of the scan he underwent. Keshi had told journalists after the match that “We will know about that, probably (on Thursday). The doctor will have to go and do some scans so we will know better,” Keshi said on Wednesday. “Hopefully, it’s not that bad. We will play (our next game) on Sunday. It is not for nothing that he is called Baba, yet another aphorism for some sort of a hard-to-get-to-know paterfamilias, whose offspring would usually approach with great trepidation, not knowing exactly what to expect. Long after he had left office, as President of the Federal Republic, General Olusegun Obasanjo’s home is still like a pilgrimage ground, with hordes of visitors, trooping in and out, to hold court for one reason, or the other — Baba’s opinion, influence and wise couns...

Image
Leicester, England (CNN)   -- The line snakes around the block, hundreds of people wrapped up against the early autumn chill. The crowd waits patiently as a sensibly-dressed, middle-aged woman wanders along the queue, handing out flyers and apologizing for the delay. "He's been waiting hundreds of years," says one woman, gesturing towards the archway up ahead with a smile. "It won't kill us to hang on for half an hour." NEW: DNA test proves remains are those of Richard III "He" is Richard III, one of the most famous kings of England, remembered by school children and Shakespeare aficionados alike as a notorious villain, hunchbacked and hateful, accused of killing his own nephews, the "Princes in the Tower," to usurp the throne, and whose whereabouts were, until recently, a complete mystery. The king in the parking lot The history books record that in August 1485, Richard - the last English king to die in battle - rode out fr...
